Here you can find answers to frequently asked questions about the service of our rural houses “CASARA”.

How are the rural houses equipped?

In our rural houses you can find almost all the comforts of a modern home: the kitchens are fully equipped with fridge, washing machine, toaster, microwave, coffee maker, juicer, mixer and other utensils; the living room has a comfortable sofa, fireplace with firewood, TV and DVD with movies, books and safe (only in the Casa del Rio). The bathroom is complete with heating and shower. Outside there is a barbecue grill (except May to September for fire risk), garden furniture and private pool.

Where can you find Casara?

The Estate is located in the province of Malaga, municipality of Casares, white town par excellence, surrounded by nature and mountains. It features a small forest of cork oaks within the farm itself, to take a walk. It is only a few minutes away from the beautiful beaches of the Costa del Sol.

What is the maximum capacity of the houses?

Inside the Estate there are several rural houses:
Casa del Rio has a capacity of 4 people maximum.
Casa Grande has a capacity of 8-10 people.
La Casita has a capacity of 2 people.

They are all within the Estate, but sufficiently far apart to ensure privacy.

How can I check availability?

To check availability you can do it on our website by taking a look at the section "Rates and offers" or you can call us at 665 81 7560 or send an email indicating the date, number of people and the house you choose to info@casara.com.es.

Where can you buy food?

- Lidl
- Gas station
- Mercadona

Can I bring my pet?

Animals are allowed in case it is a guide dog for blind people; otherwise the animal access is limited due to the meticulous commitment to hygiene in every house. If an animal is very well trained, and you can prove the ownership you can bring your pet with the corresponding documentation of the animal and its bed. In addition, pet owners should take care of proper maintenance of the estate, picking up your pets droppings around the house.

If authorized, the entry of a pet is priced at € 14 / day, plus additional deposit of 50 €.

We are animal lovers and beyond restrictions we have dogs, horses and chickens on the estate so that everyone can enjoy total freedom.

Guest will be responsible for removing any droppings of their pets anywhere on the estate.

What to do with my household waste accumulated after my stay?

The guest will be responsible to hand the house over in the same state of cleanliness in which it was received and the guest should also throw the trash in the nearest container (on the arrival you will be shown where to find them). We recommend you not to leave accumulated trash as this may attracts bugs and insects in the field.

What is the service "one more day to prepare the return"?

To make the travelers stay as relaxing as possible until the last minute, we thought about this offer which consists of only 14 Euros per person (VAT included), guests can leave on Monday morning (offer for weekends with departure on Monday until 10:00h max). (Service available only during low season)

Are towels and bed sheets included?

Towels, bed sheets, blankets and quilts are in the house. In addition there is a washing machine at your disposal.

Is there a pool?

Each house has a private pool with water coming directly from the river. (Open from May 15 to September 30).

Is there a fireplace?

Each of the houses has a fireplace with a load of firewood at your disposal and if you wish it will already be lighted at your arrival. Anyway both the bathroom and the bedroom have a heating. A box of firewood will be delivered the day of entry.

Is there a barbecue grill?

The rural house has a barbecue grill, table and chairs which you can use in winter as well. From May to September, for safety reasons you cannot use the barbecue grill.

Can you drink tap water?

It is advisable to buy bottled water and not to drink tap water.

Can you go hiking?

Our rural house is surrounded by trails where you can go hiking. These routes are available on the website of Casares.

What is the time of check-in and check-out?

Check-in is between 14:00h and 22:00h Casa del Rio and between 15:00h and 22:00h Casa Grande, and check-out is at 10:00h. Different times can be previously agreed upon availability. You may indicate the approximate available time of check-in prior to the day of arrival.

How I can make the reservation?

The reservation by telephone may be made from Monday to Friday from 10:00h to 20:00h, Saturdays from 10.00h to 13:00h at the number 665217560. You can also make the reservation by sending an E-Mail to info@casara.com.es 24 hours a day.

Consultations via E-Mail will be answered as soon as possible. Once availability is confirmed we will send you a form of pre booking, in which the reservation data (name, telephone number, e-mail, mobile phone number, chosen house, check-in and check-out, etc.) will be specified, so you can verify that all details are correct. In addition our data will appear and the account number where you can deposit the amount of 50% comission of the total price for the booking. Once we received the bank voucher via email or fax, we will contact you, acknowledging and confirming the reservation. Moreover, we will provide additional information (detailed description of directions, phone numbers, etc.).

When entering the house the full rental payment (less the amount of the reserve) in cash and exact amount plus the amount of the deposit is made. You can also pay the rent and security deposit transfer, prior to the stay in the house.

What are the cancellation terms if I cannot come?

Given notice of cancellation 30 days or more prior to the date of arrival:
Return of 50% of the paid amount for the reservation.

- Given notice of cancellation between 29 and 15 days prior to the date of arrival:
Return of 35% of the paid amount for the reservation.

- Given notice of cancellation between 14 and 8 days prior to the date of arrival:
Return of 15% of the paid amount for the reservation.

- Cancellation 7 days prior to the date of arrival: No returns.

Where can I pick up the keys for the house?

The keys will be provided personally at your arrive.
